Four finals - three golds!
Regional boys - the boys left their best for last, smashing Central 6-0 in their final. Up 3-0 at halftime and well in control of the game, Central subbed their goalie and the boys made them pay. Goals to Henry Phelps (2), Tim Schulpin (2), Will Mace-Cochrane and Moss Jackson.
Regional girls - the girls fought hard against a well drilled Central side who converted their limited chances, but unfortunately they went down 4-1 with penalty corners the difference between the sides. A great field goal from Emily Wium put our girls on the scoreboard.
Association boys - the boys dominated Auckland right from the start, comfortably winning 4-2. Goals from Ettiene Harrington-Watt and Scott Muir giving them a two goal buffer going into halftime. Canterbury piled on the pressure in the second half with another two goals, Scott Muir finding the net again and Sam Armitage getting on the score sheet.
Association girls - the girls were always in control of the match against Waikato. They created numerous opportunities and comfortably came out on top 1-0. The goal coming from Olivia Allan in the 34th minute.
